How much does it cost to hire you?

How long do I have to bring a claim in New Jersey?
In most New Jersey personal injury cases the deadline is two years from the date of the accident, and there are shorter notice deadlines when a public entity is involved. Waiting also makes evidence harder to obtain, so it is worth speaking to someone early even if you are unsure.
The insurance company already offered me money. Should I take it?
Speak to a lawyer before you accept anything. Early offers usually arrive before the full extent of your injuries and treatment is known, and accepting one normally closes the claim for good.
What if the accident was partly my fault?
New Jersey uses comparative negligence, so you can still recover as long as you were not more than 50% at fault — your recovery is reduced by your share. Do not assume you have no claim because you think you contributed.
Do I have to go to court?
Most cases settle without a trial. We prepare every case as though it may be tried, because that is what gives a settlement negotiation weight, but the large majority resolve by agreement.
What if I don't have health insurance?
In New Jersey your own auto policy's PIP coverage generally pays for accident-related medical treatment first, regardless of who caused the crash. We will help you work out what coverage applies.
